At 17, Gabby Beckford abandoned the status quo by boarding a flight to Iceland for her first solo trip. Risks that seemed reckless have become the foundation of her success, and she’s never stopped chasing the “impossible”. Today? Gabby Beckford is a New York–based Entrepreneur, Speaker, and Creator redefining freedom in 2025. In 2018 founded Packs Light, a media and education company helping audiences and brands explore the world with confidence and purpose. Under the Packs Light umbrella are SeekPTO a curated platform connecting members to Paid Travel Opportunities, and Young Travelers, a community of 10,000+ and podcast inspiring and connecting Gen Z travelers.
As a cofounder of the Black Travel Alliance—a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit—and a member of the American Influencer Council, Beckford continues to advocate for representation and access within both the travel and creator industries. She has multiple features in notable publications such as The New York Times, CNBCMakeIt, and Business Insider, and she’s partnered with more than 100 global brands including Meta, Mastercard, United Airlines, and DoorDash.
Her influence extends well beyond content—she is also an experienced marketer. Beckford was one of the prestigious LinkedIn Top 100 of the platform’s inaugural Creator Accelerator Program in 2022. Today, she is a 3x LinkedIn Partner, established B2B Creator, and a budding creative strategist who regularly advises Fortune 500 companies on Gen Z marketing, cultural relevance, and the future of the Creator Economy.
